3Arena Announced as New Venue Name

After much speculation, Three today announced that the new name for Ireland’s most exciting entertainment venue is 3Arena.

The LiveNation – owned 13,500 capacity venue plays a significant role in the Irish entertainment industry, with over 100 gigs per year being hosted. Some of the biggest acts in the world are set to take to the stage of the refurbished venue in the coming months, including Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Ennio Morricone, Imelda May, The Who and Peter Gabriel.

3Arena Illuminated – 10^th – 13^th September

To mark the arrival of the re-mastered venue on the Dublin skyline, using the venue as a canvas, Three is hosting ‘3Arena Illuminated.’ Through animation and words projected high onto Dublin’s landmark 3Arena, this will be Ireland’s biggest-ever 3D projection-mapped project and will light up the city skyline like never before. For four days only, ‘3Arena Illuminated’ will gather music fans’ music memories on Three’s social media channels and share them with the world.

Enrique Iglesias has announced details about a concert at The O2, Dublin on 23rd November 2014, with special guest Demi Lovato.

Enrique Iglesias’ date in Dublin is part of his ‘Sex and Love’ Tour. His album ’Sex and Love’ was released last March and features the hit “I’m a Freak” featuring Pitbull and his current single “There Goes My Baby featuring Flo Rida”.

Tickets for the show at The O2, Dublin cost from €49.65 including booking fee and go on sale Friday 13 June at 9.30am from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.

Lady Gaga Announces artRave ARTPOP Ball Tour

European Concert Dates Confirmed; Tickets Go On Sale Starting February 14 2014

Lady Gaga, one of the top global touring acts of our time–having sold nearly 4 million concert tickets–is adding an extensive European leg to her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour. The announcement was made today by Live Nation and supports Lady Gaga’s new album ARTPOP which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

With the North American tour already announced, the European leg of Lady Gaga’s artRave: The ARTPOP Ball kicks off this autumn, beginning in Antwerp and followed by concerts in Amsterdam, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, the U.K., France, the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

Lady Gaga will play The O2 Dublin on October 17th 2014. Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster and usual outlets on February 14th 2014.

Beyonce Set To Play The O2 Dublin in March 2014

Beyonce is set to play three dates in Dublin as part of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour 2014.

The superstar will take to the stage at The O2 Dublin on March 8, 9, 11 and 12, with tickets for the gigs going on sale on Tuesday December 17 at 9am from Ticketmaster.

Beyonce’s five-week run kicks off on Thursday, February 20 in Glasgow, and will include performances in Germany, Spain, Holland, Belgium and Portugal.

The popstar was named Best Live Act by the MTV European Music Awards last month.

Tickets for Beyonce at The O2 Dublin in March 2014 will be available from Tuesday, December 17 at 9am online at Ticketmaster and from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
