FAQ

1. Please ensure to bring your bus ticket.
   • Either print it out or show it on your smart phone.
2. Dress for the weather. This is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately.
3. No alcohol will be permitted on board under any circumstance. 
4. Arrive in plenty of time to get the bus.
5. Mobile Phones:
   • Preserve your phone battery – it will be a very long day so minimise phone usage.
   • It is vitally important that we are able to contact after the gig, if you get lost.
   • Please forward by email to sales@kellytravel.ie as many extra names and phone numbers for your group as possible. 
6. Travelling with friends:
   • If you have friends booked in separately with Kelly Travel and you want to be on the same bus, you need to notify us TODAY by emailing sales@kellytravel.ie with the names and phone numbers of those you wish to travel with. We will do everything in our power to assist but cannot guarantee we will be able to comply with every request.
7. Bus Parking:
   • All Kelly Travel Buses will all be parked at the Official Coach Park at Alfie Byrne Road.
   • You will be dropped off at the Official Coach Park.
   • You must make your way back to the Official Coach Park..
   • BUSES DEPART AT 23:30 or as soon as every passenger is accounted for.

The world’s biggest pop act return next year with the eagerly awaited announcement of a brand new UK & Ireland tour in 2015. One Direction play 3Arena, Dublin on the 16 & 17 October and the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on 20 & 21 October.

Bus Services to The Script at Croke Park

The Script have confirmed they will play Dublin’s Croke Park Stadium on June 20th 2015. Tickets for next summer’s concert go on sale next Thursday at 9am. The Script will be supported by Grammy award-winning artist, Pharrel Williams. It will be the biggest concert to date for the Dublin band and the date falls the week of the 30th anniversary of U2’s first concert in the venue, when they played as part of the Unforgettable Fire tour.

Speaking at a press conference in Croke Park, lead singer Danny O’Donoghue said it would be a “very special gig… nothing tastes sweeter than an Irish show”.

Asked whether they were nervous about their capacity to sell over 80,000 tickets, O’Donoghue said, “I think we’re more nervous about the weather. We just want everyone to enjoy themselves. The nerves are more about that. It’s more excitement than nerves.”

“There is no better way to put the events of the summer behind us than with a Dublin band playing at the pinnacle of their career.”

3Arena Announced as New Venue Name

After much speculation, Three today announced that the new name for Ireland’s most exciting entertainment venue is 3Arena.

The LiveNation – owned 13,500 capacity venue plays a significant role in the Irish entertainment industry, with over 100 gigs per year being hosted. Some of the biggest acts in the world are set to take to the stage of the refurbished venue in the coming months, including Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Ennio Morricone, Imelda May, The Who and Peter Gabriel.

Tickets: between now and April 18, it’s €154.50 for a weekend ticket if you can prove you’ve been to three or more Picnics, €174.50 if you can prove you’ve been to the Picnic once or twice before and €194.50 if you have never been before. Tickets then increase to €194.50 until July 4 and, if there are any left, it will be €229.50 a pop after that date. If you want a day ticket for Sunday – and there’s no notion yet who will actually be playing on Sunday – it’s €90. You can add Ticketmaster’s fees to all of the above prices.
